This class goes to the basics and teaches proper breathing, alignment and form for yoga poses in a modified Vinyasa flow format. Extra time is taken for explanation of anatomical focus, benefits, modifications and contraindications. Ideal for those new to yoga or those wanting to refresh and refocus form or alignment issues.

Vinyasa yoga links poses in a flowing series that warms and energizes the body. Classes are orchestrated to facilitate smooth transitions from one pose to another. Each total mind-body class includes sun salutations and breath work with emphasis on cardiovascular conditioning, core strengthening, flexibility, muscle balancing, and relaxation. Appropriate modifications are always offered to assure a safe and effective experience.
